Is this the sign that IR casinos will turn towards local market expansion?

We also learned from some Malaysian visitors that the fever for casino gambling in  Singapore is not as strong now… they have seen it all.

Apparently the Universal Studios attraction remains under-performing, according to many visitors that the rides are so so.

With lesser bus trips from the largest pool of neighbouring country to feed the IR casinos, it is expected that casino operators will soon be more aggressive in soliciting singapore local population to fill the gap.

It is envisaged that the local authority may raise the casino entry levy (currently at S$100 per entry) in near future if the complaints of gambling problems start to rise.
